Seven Roots Ranch
Seven Roots Ranch is a lush 200+ acre property in Napa, California. The land is blessed with sweeping views of rolling vineyards, majestic heritage oak trees, a flowing stream, wildflowers and wildlife in every nook and cranny. The owners have built an eclectic array of structures that feature both rustic restored barns and modern residences. The property includes a farm with organic produce, flowers and even chickens, as well as an art garden displaying unique modern sculptures and art installations. The client asked us to develop an iconic brand that characterizes the modern/rustic feel of the space. The inspiration for the Seven Roots icon came from ranch cattle branding. The interlocking figures of the number 7 and capital R form a modern elegant monogram. The colors evoke bright California poppies and the rich soil of their land. Serif type evokes the elegance of the structures on the property, while the textured tree ring stamp signals the landscape and wood barns.
